We are looking for a robotics engineer with experience in topics as diverse as circuit design, 3D printing or control theory and firmware programming. . We perform research on cutting edge connected technologies and demonstrate their application in the society of tomorrow. Our goal is to build a secure and flexible IoT platform, capable to transform anything into something connected.
The Connected Robotics Lab merges the results of our research and strives to build compelling demos and visualizations. We aim to showcase 5G and IoT technologies in realistic real-world applications. With a very flat hierarchy as well as a creative and agile team we provide the environment for bringing in your ideas. We value communication and teamwork to accomplish our ambitious goals together.
What you will do
- Design subtle electronic circuit boards for key features of our robots
- Program elegant firmware for modern robot microcontrollers
- Create gorgeous 3D-print designs for striking robot components
- Assemble and test mechanics of fascinating demonstrators
Your Profile
- Optional: ongoing or finished university degree in electrical engineering or computer science
- Interest and experience with tinkering electronics and microcontrollers (raw ATMEL/Arduino/ARM)
- Mechanical skills and creative ideas for pragmatic problem solving
- Optional: Experience with robotics and sensor technology
- Optional: Experience with software architecture and automated testing
