The Barkhausen Institute performs research on the latest hardware, software and communication technologies and demonstrates their application in tomorrow's society. Our goal is to build a flexible and trustworthy IoT platform based on reliable electronics and secure communication methods.

The research group “Secure Digital Systems” (SDS) focuses primarily on the security of digital systems – from classic computers and Internet of Things (IoT) devices to embedded systems, in which artificial intelligence is increasingly being used. The aim is to make both conventional and intelligent systems resistant to real-world attacks.

To help pursue our research agenda, at the earliest opportunity, we are looking for a

Student Assistant – Group Administration (m/f/d)

(up to 19 hours/ We are interested in a long-term collaboration)

Your tasks

• Organisation and coordination of administrative processes, including appointment and meeting management and minute-taking
• Maintenance and administration of internal documentation and information systems
• Support in the creation and processing of administrative documents, publications and official documents
• Assistance with organisational tasks, e.g. travel planning, event and presentation preparation
• Administrative support in application management, including initial screening of documents
• Support in SDS’ PR and outreach activities

We expect the following

• Study of Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Education, or similar
• Ability to work independently, organizational skills, and interest in teamwork
• Good communication and writing skills in English
• Basic knowledge of MS Office

• Payment for the position depends on your degree. If you do not yet have a degree, we pay 13,98 euros per hour. If you have a bachelor's degree, we pay 15,44 euros per hour. If you have a master's degree or diploma, we pay 21 euros per hour.
